Prayer Group

So, it’s been on my heart for a long time to start a small group, particularly a prayer group. I started one today, invited my friends. We have 5 members, but that’s fine. If Elijah can pray for 3.5 years for it not to rain in Israel, and it didn’t (James 5:17), then what can 5 Christ followers pray for? Obviously, praying for our country, its leaders, our towns, our neighborhoods, our families, each other.

People won’t or can’t always attend church like they used to. But we need to be ready to meet in homes in small gatherings, or at coffee shops, or wherever we can. So we can pray that Co-Vid cases go down, so we can pray for peace in the big cities like New York, Chicago, and Portland. And maybe, God will heal our land (2nd Chronicles 7:14).

And we need to pray for nonbelievers, that God will work on their hearts. That they will seek His face, and that we share the gospel with them.
