Next Steps, and a Struggle

So, I spent the last week playing a mobile game called Impact. But now I’m not playing it as much, in fact, I intend to not play it all, Lord willing. Impact, Star Rail, and Genshin are all games made by a Chinese company. Now, I often judged people for using TikTok, thinking: the app is Chinese, what’s going on with such an advanced algorithm and the potential for trouble for Americans by the CCP.

But then I started playing Impact, also owned by a Chinese company. At that point I couldn’t critique them anymore because I would’ve been a hypocrite. I know people think racism is the worst sin right now, but 10-20 years ago it was hypocrisy. Now it’s bigotry, which I don’t know the definition of (I think most don’t). It’s like “toxic.” Calling someone a bigot is using a slur against them. It hits with the same fire and venom as any of the swear words.

Well, now i’m getting over the gaming again. But the Lord taught me a little about judging folks. I mean that judgment in our heads when we see a fat person on a motorized cart. That judgment when you’re pretty sure someone is tripping on drugs. Now, mind you, I’m not talking about all judgment. You judge who your friends are going to be based on their benefit to you. You judge who your spouse is going to be with reasonable or arbirtrary standards. You “discriminate” between ice cream flavors as to which is your favorite. But if you judge someone on a sin you perceive they have commited, and have contempt for that person, then be careful, because “by the measure you use it will be used agianst you,”

M. judged her sister for having a live-in boyfriend. Then she had one. I judged my step-dad for having certain issues. Then I struggled with them. Here’s another one. You’re doing something, and all of a sudden you think of a vice/weakness/deficiency in someone else. For academics cheating is the unforgivable sin. For some it’s stealing. If you steal so much as a penny they cut you out of their lives. For others it’s lying.

i believe in greater and lessers sins (as a result of Jesus’ conversation with Pilate “He who turned me over to you has the greater sin”). Do racists go to Hell? Maybe, but if they do it’s for hating their brothers and sisters. Do unrepentant sinners go to Hell who haven’t trusted in the Lord Jesus? Absolutely. But the bigger sins are named in the bible. Look at the list in two Chapters in Revelation towards the end of the book.

“Sexually immoral, liars, unbeleiving, cowardly, sorcerers, and liars” are the ones I remember. Now, I imagine all of us have told at least one lie. And you will say,”My neighbor is a <non-Christian nor Messianic Jew>, will she go to Hell?” Anyone who does not trust in Jesus Christ, who does not worship and follow Him, will not be in Heaven. I can never say who will or won’t go to Heaven specifically, because that’s not up to me. Praise God, it’s up to Jesus, the only human (also God), who can judge us fairly.

There are indicators of people who are saved and those who are wicked (unsaved). The bible contains many such examples. But anyone who truly reprents and believes in Jesus and follows Him as Lord, will be saved. Because all of us are guilty of breaking God’s commandments, God’s Law. Even if we don’t know the Mosaic Law, we have conscience inside us, we have a natural law inside. Unless we are spiritually confused, spiritually deadened, we know right and wrong. And I know I have transgressed God’s Laws many many times. But Jesus forgave me, and granted me the grace to repent. I’m not perfect. I don’t obey 100% of the time. Jesus can forgive you, too, and that’s how you experience Him and the Father. Those saved through grace by faith experience Heaven sooner or later.. But if we believe, we have God and Jesus with us 24/7. Jesus said,”And this is eternal life, that they may know You (The Father, God), and the One you have sent (Jesus)”

Brothers and sisters, we get life right now! With Jesus! And many of you had bad Dad’s growing up. But with Jesus, you have God as your Father. You become His child! And that is the relationship so many of us are desperate for, although many of us don’t realize it. They know something is wrong in their lives, but they can’t quite put their finger on it. So they go from this thing to that thing, this relationship to that one, seeking Living water like the woman at the well, but we only find Living Water through Jesus.

Thank God for our Lord Jesus Christ! In whom is every blessing, because He IS the blessing. If you have Christ, you have everything you will ever need. But if you don’t, you will have less than nothing, because at the great white throne judgment “even what you think you have will be taken away,”

I plead, I beg, turn to Jesus now! Before it’s too late! After the dead in Christ are raised, and the living Church that remains are taken away, you will have an opportunity or opportunities to be saved. But the Tribulation will be Hell on earth, and I would warn everyone to escape that through Jesus now.

I hope that helps. I tried to lay it out for you as best and clearly as I can.
